I love this store! There is something for everyone -- jewelry, food, hostess gifts, purses, scarves, candles and lots of home decorating items! Christmas is especially magical! And all the profits go for a good cause - helping children and their families with mental health treatment. The volunteers who run the store are so helpful - my favoritie place to shop!

The Butter Paddle is a unique store in that it is a retail store that is a non profit. If you need a gift for any occasion or love home accesories, you will find it there and they do free gift wrapping! It's a fun store to visit with everything from Annieglass to food items. Even though it is a retail store, all the staff are volunteers so that the net profits go to support foster and at risk children in Santa Clara County through Uplift Family Services/Pacific Clinics.

The Butter Paddle is a wonderful gift shop! It's so fun to visit and see what's new! The entire store is run by volunteers, from the store managers, to the buyers, to the staff and proceeds help children in Santa Clara County in need and their families through Pacific Clinics.

The Butter Paddle has won the Best Gift Shop in Silicon Valley for several years now, and I understand why. It's my go-to shop for beautiful and unique gifts, many which are made by local vendors. I love shopping there for gifts for others, or just for myself!

I have been shopping at The Butter Paddle since its inception in Saratoga in 1967. Still use the cutting board and grater I received as bridal shower gifts! You will not find another store of this type with the most friendly staff/volunteers, personal, knowledgable service and such a wide variety of gift items for every occasion or just for you! As a non-profit store operated by volunteers in every capacity, 100% of the proceeds supports the children & families served by Pacific Clinics.

Always has a wonderful selection of curated giftware, jewelry, gourmet food, children’s gifts and lovely items for the home. Plus all the proceeds go towards a great cause!

Lovely non profit local gift shop run by an all volunteer staff . The items are new high quality items , many from local vendors. The store is always decorated nicely, the employees are welcoming and they offer complementary gift wrap. When in Los Gatos, it is always a fun place to browse.

The Butter Paddle has been my go-to store for unique gifts for years and always fun to see what they have new! Their displays are beautifully arranged and wandering through the store, you’ll find a variety of gifts including seasonal, collectible, home goods, food items, jewelry and more. Even better, the store is a non-profit business run by friendly volunteers and their profits go to support children & families in crisis through Pacific Clinics. This store is one of the few remaining gift stores and a true gem in the heart of Los Gatos!

This is a beautiful shop with treasures including glass and metal art, dishes, and distinctive gifts of all price ranges. I don't know about you but I enjoy buying gifts for myself as well as for friends. The shop is run by volunteers and proceeds go to children in financial need. All proceeds from The Butter Paddle are donated to EMQ FamiliesFirst a nonprofit organization helping children and families in crisis since 1867.
